Volunteer

You can get involved by volunteering your time and talents for HART's fundraiser events held each spring and fall, or assisting at HART's office. 

1. Volunteer opportunities at HART Auction fundraisers

The PURPOSE of the auctions are to raise funds for sending thousands of underprivileged children to summer camps who could otherwise not afford to go. These include orphans, street kids, boys from prisons, children with handicaps, and desperately poor families.

WE NEED: committee members, procure items for live and silent auctions, day of event set-up and tear-down crew, assistance during auction evening, administrative assistance

The PURPOSE of these dinners is to introduce an indigenous partner (Pastor, ministry) from Eastern Europe; celebrate what has happened with HART's ministry during the past year, and launch our annual Gifts of Hope catalogue; ultimately giving those in attendance some ideas on how to "change the world" through HART projects.

Fall dinners in Calgary (November 2, 2012) and Vancouver (November 9, 2012)

WE NEED: committee members, hosts & hostesses, greeters, day of event set-up and tear-down crew, administrative assistance

3. Volunteer opportunities at HART'S office in Calgary

Shipping:  sorting and packing donated clothing and toys that are destined for orphanages, relief aid centers, prisons, clinics, camps and more.

Newsletters:  stuffing envelopes for quartely newsletters, child sponsor project updates, gifts of hope catalogues.
